We are proud to announce that Knights of Columbus Council 14079 has been recognized by the KIND Charities of Tennessee for our exceptional fundraising efforts during the 2023-2024 campaign. Our council was honored with three prestigious awards:
- Top Producer – Third Place
- Collection Per Member – Third Place
- Percentage Increase Over Previous Year – First Place
These achievements reflect the dedication and generosity of our council members, who tirelessly work to support those in need through our charitable initiatives. Our council members, along with their spouses and many parish members, generously contributed items for our silent auction and dedicated over 500 hours of their time to its success.
KIND Charities of Tennessee provides vital assistance to individuals and families across the state, and Council 14079 is proud to support their mission through fundraising efforts that strengthen the local community. The funds raised by Knights of Columbus Council 14079 were distributed to the Orange Grove Center in August of last year. The Orange Grove Center remains the primary focus of our council’s charitable efforts in partnership with KIND Charities of Tennessee, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Receiving these awards is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our council to service and charity. Our success would not have been possible without the support of our members, parish community, and donors who continue to make a difference in the lives of many.
