An evening of celebration and remembrance
Opening Rosary
The evening began at 6:00 PM with the praying of the Holy Rosary, held in the church sanctuary. The Rosary was led by Deputy Grand Knight Richard Faulkner, offering a moment of prayer and reflection for all in attendance. This spiritual beginning set a reverent tone for the events that followed and reminded us of our commitment to Mary, our Blessed Mother, and to the mission of the Knights of Columbus.
Officers Installation

Installation of Officers
At 6:30 PM, the Installation of Council Officers began in accordance with the official Knights of Columbus ceremonial. Led by our District Deputy, the ceremony formally installed the elected officers for the new fraternal year. After a prayer led by the Council Chaplain and greetings from Supreme and State leadership, each officer stood before his brothers, family, and community to publicly affirm his commitment to the responsibilities of his role and to the founding principles of the Order: Charity, Unity, and Fraternity.
The ceremony concluded with a final blessing and a symbolic formation of the officers in the shape of a cross — a powerful reminder of the Catholic mission at the heart of our work. A receiving line welcomed members and guests to personally congratulate the newly installed leadership team.

Dinner and Program

Following the officer installation, guests gathered in the parish hall for an evening of fellowship, reflection, and celebration. The program began with a warm welcome and an invocation and grace offered by Monsignor Al Humbrecht, setting a reverent tone for the evening. Guests enjoyed a shared meal while surrounded by Brother Knights, families, and community members.

The evening continued with general remarks, recognition of head table guests, and a keynote address by Deacon Jim Bello. Presentations followed, highlighting the Council’s 2024–2025 achievements, state and council award recipients, and inspiring remarks from State Deputy Eric Pelton and Monsignor Humbrecht. Deputy Grand Knight Richard Faulkner led a necrology remembrance, and the evening concluded with a blessing and dismissal by Monsignor Humbrecht, sending all forth renewed in faith and fraternity.

A special moment of the evening was the acknowledgment of the passing of Sir Knight Wesley A. Bell, a founding member of Holy Spirit Council 14079 and a devoted contributor to the growth of the Knights of Columbus across Eastern Tennessee. In recognition of his lasting impact, his daughter was presented with a posthumous award from the State of Tennessee Knights of Columbus. A shadow box, carefully assembled by Brother Ed Klim, was displayed in tribute—showcasing key items from Sir Knight Bell’s time of service.
