On Tuesday, January 27, 2026 (following the 6:00 PM Mass), our council gathered for a 3rd Degree Exemplification—a meaningful night of prayer, fraternity, and celebration as we welcomed Caleb into full membership as a Third Degree Knight.
Please join us in congratulating Caleb on taking this step. We’re grateful to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make the evening memorable. Moments like this strengthen our parish community and renew our shared commitment to live out the mission of the Knights: serving our families, our parish, and those in need.

What are the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees?
The first three degrees of the Knights of Columbus focus on the Order’s foundational principles: Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. In today’s format, these principles are often presented together in a combined exemplification that is reverent, welcoming, and appropriate for candidates and their families.
- 1st Degree – Charity
Charity is the heartbeat of the Order: loving service to others—starting at home and extending into our parish and community. - 2nd Degree – Unity
Unity reminds us we’re stronger together than alone. Knights support one another and work together to serve the Church and build up the community. - 3rd Degree – Fraternity
Fraternity is Catholic brotherhood in action—standing together in faith, encouraging one another, and striving to be better husbands, fathers, and men.
What it means to be a Third Degree Knight
A Third Degree Knight is a full member of the Knights of Columbus, formed in (and committed to) the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity. It’s a public “yes” to living your faith more intentionally—through service, fellowship, and support for the Church and your brothers.
For Caleb, this exemplification marks not just a milestone, but the beginning of a deeper journey of involvement: growing in faith, serving others, and strengthening the bonds that make our council and parish community thrive.
